There are some practical recommendations on why and how to create a strategic plan, clearly defined roles and responsibilities, data collection and analysis process, knowledge management system, collaborative culture, training, accountability, and continuous improvement.
By understanding and addressing these challenges, organizations can increase their chances of building a successful competitive intelligence and market intelligence community.
Prof.Dr. Andrejs Cekuls has more than 20 years of practical experience in the management of international companies and sales projects. Academic and research interests are in the areas of organizational management, leadership, entrepreneurship and competitive intelligence. He is a member of the organization of Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and an expert in management science at the Latvian Council of Science. The professor is the author of several publications on management issues.
